Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer to manage a portfolio of large projects ranging from $1 million to $25 million each. The role involves working with strategic account customers, including general contractors, building owners, and end users, ensuring smooth project execution and client satisfaction from development to completion. Responsibilities + Manage a portfolio of large projects from $1 million to $25 million each with strategic account customers. + Ensure smooth project and client satisfaction from project development to completion. + Provide direction to assisting Jobsite Project Managers and Project Engineers. + Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time, and with a high level of customer satisfaction. + Oversee the overall financial performance of assigned projects, including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re-estimating costs of installation projects. + Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope. + Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues. + Manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action. + Maintain effective communications with customers and field team members to better understand support requirements. + Frequently contact customers with a high degree of tact and courtesy to maintain and build good rapport. + Develop diverse product knowledge and perform diagnostic procedures. + Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design/system-related problems. Essential Skills + High School diploma or GED. + 3+ years of Project Engineering Management experience. + 3+ years of prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation Controls. + Valid Driver’s License. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in a related field. + Prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation Controls. + Experience with certifications in the field. + Experience in risk management, project planning, project estimation, and project monitoring. Work Environment The territory for this position would be for NOVA Data Center projects. The role involves managing a team of 7 people, with a physical office space in NOVA by December. You will have opportunities for growth, particularly within software engineering, as most technicians interact with software daily.
