Data Center Regional Service Sales Specialist - Central Region

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Data Center Regional Service Sales Specialist - Central Region. This is a hybrid-based position where candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of the following locations to be considered for this position: Glendale Heights, IL; Menomonee Falls, WI; Westerville, OH; West Chester, OH; Fenton, MO; Southfield, MI or Indianapolis, IN. Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants who live outside of these locations.
**What you’ll do:**
**Position Overview:**
This position will be responsible for driving sales excellence and enhanced customer experience with internal and external stakeholders, managing and owning certain aspects of the selling process with stakeholders. The focus of this role is service sales engagement with internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent must facilitate collaboration/sharing across Eaton to drive growth of the entire Eaton service portfolio.
**In this function you will:**
+ Support strategic accounts being managed from outside of the geography with customer visits and quote support as needed; manage inside sales support workload and collaborate to close contract sales for <$10K customer opportunities; manage special offering requirements and pricing committee calls for the region
+ Submit legal requests and manage commercial negotiation with customers, providing updates to the Area Sales Manager (ASM), which includes escalating as needed to facilitate quick process and mitigate risk, coordinating COI requests, managing supplier forms, rep& certs and miscellaneous items
+ Conduct monthly cadence calls with each sales team to develop regional forecast and ensure effective pipeline management through Growthpoint; work in partnership with ASM to provide coaching on best practices for opportunity management
+ Manage escalations for concurrent and nonconcurrent sales with supporting teams, including credit, legal, finance, order management, field service, marketing, PLM, inside sales, etc.
+ Serve as sales liaison for cross functional teams supporting service sales, which includes but is not limited to communicating customer portal needs to be managed by credit and customer service and interfacing with the field operations team to identify issues that may impact commercial activities; also participation in VOS to the business unit
+ Serve as SME for Eaton’s systems – SalesForce, Oracle, PowerBI, PRMS, Bidman, Warranty Entitlement, Extranet, SAP, Sales Reporting, iLeads; this includes new employee training and quarterly updates for the region
+ Perform data analytics to identify regional trends, including managing a scorecard to track metrics of regional strategic goals; report out to the leadership team with executive summary on a monthly basis
**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
+ Minimum five (5) years of experience in a customer-facing role
+ Possess a valid driver’s license
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Customer-facing experience in a service sales or other commercial function

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $120,000 - $176,000.
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
