Position Summary
A Data Center Security Installation Project Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall administration, organization, and implementation of large data center electronic security installation projects.
Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to:
● Responsible for the overall financial management of the project(s).
● Responsible for on-time project completion.
● Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM).
● Forecasting cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
● Ordering materials, tools, and equipment.
● Preparing price proposals and change orders.
● Prepare monthly reports analyzing the budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
● Identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures, quality improvement and incorporating best practices.
● Ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to.
Basic Qualifications:
● Must have at least the following education and years of relevant experience:
○ High school plus 8+ yrs of experience
○ Bachelor's degree plus 2+ yrs of experience
○ Masters degree plus 0 yrs of experience
● Must have project management experience with security installation projects.
● Must know how to use project scheduling software to include Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
● Must have experience managing a project budget.
Preferred Experience:
● Performed project management duties on security installation projects.
● Experience preparing pricing documents for new work.
● Financial management of security installation projects.
● Managed multiple projects at any given time.
Specific position requirements are as follows:
● Position will be on-site, based in Columbus, OH.
Abilities:
● Flexibility working in different environments.

▪ Extensive walking through the interior and/or exterior of the project site.
▪ Lifting 10-15 lb equipment.
