Data Center Technician

Our client, a Fortune 500 global IT client is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma AND around 2 years of experience in warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field. Data Center environment experience preferred.
**Job Title:** **Data Center Technician**
**Location: Chicago, Illinois**
**Pay Range: 25-27/hr W2**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance
+ Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program
+ Help programmers and systems analysts test and debug new programs
+ Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports
**What’s Needed?**
+ Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required
+ 0-2 years experience required
+ Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
+ Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time
