Data Center Technician
Our client, a leader in technology services, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the operations team supporting critical data center functions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Data Center Technician **Location:** Quincy, WA **Duration** : 18 Month Contract **Pay Range:** $25 per hour + **_Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Enrollment, 401K Saving Options, 15 days of PTO & weekly pay._** **What's the Job?** + Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance. + Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program. + Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs. + Prepare, stage, set up, and perform basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions. + Conduct physical audits of data center assets. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. + Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components. + Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). + Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and/or holidays. + 0-2 years of experience in a related field. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. + Gain hands-on experience with data center operations and technology. + Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals. + Enhance your technical skills and knowledge in the IT field. + Be part of a company that values diversity and inclusion.
