Description
We are searching for a meticulous Data Clerk to join our client's team in the manufacturing industry, located in north of Cleveland, TN. As a Data Clerk, you will take on a crucial role in managing and organizing critical documents across our various departments. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and security of our documents while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the creation, revision, and distribution of documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain document control procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize advanced features of Windows 365 and SharePoint to manage document repositories, version control, and access permissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, organize, and catalog documents related to various projects and initiatives.
• Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of document records, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Provide training and support to staff members on document control processes and software applications.
• Assist in the implementation of document management systems and tools to improve workflow automation and information retrieval.
• Act as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of documents and information.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in document management, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Chemicals Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in Document Control and using Microsoft SharePoint.
• Ability to perform special projects and generate detailed reports as required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a recognized institution will be a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in the specified location.
