Data Collector
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Collector in San Francisco, California. This role involves testing a mechanical gripping device and providing valuable feedback to the engineering team. This is a highly active role that requires a significant amount of standing. Responsibilities: • Testing the functionality of a mechanical gripper by lifting various household items. • Providing detailed feedback to the engineering team based on the performance of the device. • Being on standby during periods of downtime while the device is being reprogrammed by the engineers. • Utilizing skills in Administrative Assistance, Customer Service, Data Entry, and Order Entry in the execution of tasks. • Collaborating with the engineering team to improve product development based on the test results. • Ensuring the smooth operation of the device and reporting any issues immediately to the engineering team. • Maintaining an organized record of test results and observations for future reference. • Providing updates and progress reports to the engineering team regularly. • Assisting in reprogramming tasks as needed. • Adapting to changes in the testing process as instructed by the engineering team. Requirements • Proficiency in Administrative Assistance, with the ability to manage and organize data effectively. • Exceptional Customer Service skills, with the capacity to interact professionally and courteously with clients. • Proficiency in Data Entry, with the ability to accurately input and manage large volumes of data. • Experience in Order Entry, with the ability to process and track orders efficiently. • Strong attention to detail, ensuring data is collected and entered accurately. • Basic understanding of data privacy standards and regulations. • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data management. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High school diploma or equivalent qualification; further education in a relevant field is a plus.
