Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Collector in San Francisco, California. This role will primarily involve testing a mechanical gripping device by lifting household items and providing feedback to the engineering team. This position is based in the product development industry and requires a high level of physical activity as well as autonomous work.
Responsibilities:
• Testing a mechanical gripping device through practical application
• Lifting and handling various household items such as plates and glasses for testing purposes
• Providing detailed feedback to the engineering team based on the performance of the device
• Working autonomously with minimal communication with the engineering team
• Complying with safety measures while handling the device and performing tasks
• Commuting around San Francisco for testing and data collection activities
• Participating in training sessions at the headquarters before deployment
• Utilizing strong administrative and customer service skills in day-to-day tasks
• Entering data and maintaining accurate records of the device's performance and feedback
• Handling the device, which weighs approximately 7lbs, throughout the day. Requirements • Proficient in Administrative Assistance tasks including organizing, scheduling and maintaining records.
• Excellent Customer Service skills with a focus on maintaining positive client relationships and resolving issues promptly.
• Strong Data Entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with Order Entry processes, demonstrating efficiency and reliability in managing orders.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with computer systems and software, including data entry programs and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
