Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Collector in San Francisco, California. The role is primarily based in the industry of product development testing and will involve the usage of a mechanical gripping device. This position will require an individual who can work independently and is comfortable commuting between various sites in San Francisco. Responsibilities: • Operating a mechanical gripping device to lift household items and provide feedback to the engineering team. • Standing for prolonged periods and engaging in physical activity, including lifting items above the head. • Handling the device, which weighs approximately 7lbs, and using arms throughout the day. • Working with minimal communication with the engineering team and performing tasks autonomously. • Navigating between different sites in San Francisco and South San Francisco, requiring the use of a personal vehicle. • Undergoing initial training at the headquarters before being assigned to an onsite location. • Utilizing skills in Administrative Assistance, Customer Service, Data Entry, and Order Entry as part of daily tasks. • Adapting to changes in the device, such as the addition of cameras, and incorporating these changes into the testing process. • Ensuring safe handling of household items such as plates and glasses during testing. • Providing consistent feedback to the engineering team for the development of the product. Requirements • Possession of administrative assistance skills, with a proven track record of organizing, planning, and prioritizing work. • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Proficiency in data entry, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Experience in order entry, with the ability to process and track orders in a timely and efficient manner. • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in a relevant field will be considered an asset. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Proficiency in using various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems. • Willingness to learn new techniques and methodologies related to data collection. • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. • Proven ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times.
