Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Collector in the San Francisco area. This role primarily involves testing a mechanical gripping device and providing feedback to our engineering team, making it an integral part of our product development process. The position is physically demanding, requiring the lifting and handling of various household items. The individual will be working independently, commuting between different sites, hence a personal vehicle is necessary.
Responsibilities include:
• Testing a mechanical gripping device by lifting various household items.
• Providing detailed feedback to the engineering team about the device's performance.
• Performing tasks that require standing for extended periods and using your arms frequently.
• Handling objects such as plates, glasses, etc. overhead.
• Constantly moving between different locations within San Francisco and South San Francisco.
• Working autonomously with minimal direct communication with the engineering team.
• Maintaining focus and efficiency in a physically demanding role.
• Adapting quickly to product changes, as the device is continuously updated, including the addition of cameras.
• Completing a two-day training at the headquarters before being deployed to the on-site address.
• Managing personal commute between various locations in San Francisco. Requirements • Possess strong skills in Administrative Assistance, with a proven ability to manage and organize tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated experience in Customer Service, with a focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction rates.
• Proficiency in Data Entry, with the ability to accurately input and process a high volume of data.
• Experience with Order Entry, including processing, tracking, and managing orders.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in data collection.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear and effective data gathering.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a high level of concentration.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Proficiency in using data collection tools and software.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a recognized university is a plus. TalentMatch®
