Description We are providing a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Collector in San Francisco, California. This role is pivotal in the field of product development testing, with a focus on a mechanical gripping device. The position requires a considerable amount of physical activity and autonomy, with minimal communication with the engineering team. The successful candidate will be required to travel between sites in San Francisco. Responsibilities: • Testing a mechanical gripping device by lifting various household items • Providing detailed feedback to the engineering team based on the device’s performance • Maintaining a high level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and lifting items overhead • Operating the device, which includes cameras, independently and efficiently • Ensuring that the device is handled correctly, considering its weight of approximately 7lbs • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability by moving between different sites in San Francisco as required • Participating in a two-day training session at the headquarters before being deployed to the onsite location • Utilizing personal transportation for commuting between sites in San Francisco and South San Francisco. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Administrative Assistance • Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on satisfaction and retention • Proficiency in Data Entry, attention to detail is paramount • Solid experience in Order Entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Basic understanding of databases and data analysis • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Familiarity with modern office tools and systems • High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a recognized institution will be a plus.
