Data Coordinator II

The Data Coordinator II is responsible for routine tasks related to data entry of enrollment applications for prospective students such as:

Downloading external data and preparing for Salesforce uploads from SAT, ACT, YouVisit, RaiseMe, EAB and Niche;Exporting Salesforce data files to local flat files to allow cross-platform data updates;Uploading a daily update to Mongoose Cadence;Reconciling suspended applications in Peoplesoft as they occur;Collecting and entering data; consolidating and matching information from drafts and documents;Checking own work by computer verification, proofreading, re-entering data to
detect errors, and/or utilizing other applicable methods; making corrections as necessary;Verifying data entry of others;Maintaining databases in an organized fashion; following standard department procedures;Reformatting, organizing, and manipulating data utilizing standard department applications and
methods; implements best practices to ensure data quality;Designing and preparing standard reports and data visualizations for statistical analysis, data
interpretation, decision-making processes, and other various purposes; ensures all documents
are easy to read and interpret.

Compiles, consolidates, reformats, and inputs a variety of data into a computer, detecting and correcting errors. Verifies others' work. Prepares reports and data visualizations for analysis. Resolves issues as needed.

The employee must be able to communicate effectively through written and oral communications and to think quickly and adapt to rapidly changing technology applications. A large portion of the Data Coordinator's time will be spent working with prospective students' applications, so a high level of attention to detail is required. The employee will work with campus partners to to streamline and improve the admissions process for prospective students.

The employee must be able to operate basic office equipment (computer, telephone, copier).

Occasional evening and weekend hours as required.
