Data/CQI Administrative Specialist

Description

ICF is currently seeking a Data/CQI Administrative Specialist position to support data analysis, data visualization and data storytelling across the project. In the Data/CQI Administrative Specialist role you will apply your knowledge and experience to support evaluation and continuous quality improvement (CQI) on a national technical assistance project in a federal consulting environment. The purpose of this project is to develop and maintain a national case coordination program which provide child welfare-based recommendations for unaccompanied children in Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) custody, particularly in the areas of safe and timely release, identification of children with special needs and development of corresponding recommendations, and placement recommendations. In the Data/CQI Administrative Specialist role, you will be part of a team of data/business analysts, and a reporting specialist to support activities related to project management, reporting deliverables, CQI, and service improvement.

The successful candidate should have relevant experience and a proven record of providing administrative support to activities around data analysis, continuous quality improvement, and project reporting.  Experience in federal consulting and refugee work would be helpful in this role.  The position is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

The Data/CQI Administrative Specialist position responsibilities include:

Support the technology team, data/CQI staff, leadership, and program staff in the design and ongoing operations of the case tracking system, and other related systems. 

Support the team of data/CQI staff that collects and analyzes data to support effective and efficient Case Coordinator operations.

Support the process of identifying trends and recommendations by the data/CQI team.

Support quality assurance tasks and evaluation processes.

Support the reporting and data visualization process and support staff use of data in all areas of project functioning. 

Support the development of reports/briefs, and briefings/presentations.

Support continuous quality improvement infrastructure.

Support the process for receiving ORR feedback on all aspects of operations, including reporting and iterative improvements in processes.

Support ORR data requests.  This includes ad hoc reports and data queries.

Support the process for developing the Monthly Progress Reports and Quality Performance and Impact Plans (due quarterly).

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in data science, justice, social work, psychology, education, or other social science related subject. 

 2+ years of experience in evaluation and quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Experience working with federal, state, or local stakeholder organizations on quality assurance and evaluation.

 Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality written products and conducting presentations for a variety of audiences. 

Experience providing meeting support.

Proficient with MS office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

Experience with research and evaluation related to quality management, implementation, organizational change, systems change, and fidelity.

Demonstrated experience in data management, relational databases, data visualization and data storytelling techniques and principles, including use of software such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel.  

Education and/or experience in the application of race equity, diversity, and inclusion of social justice strategies in human service settings.

Experience applying analytic skills in a working environment (such as merging, cleaning, manipulating datasets).

Strong interest and/or experience in related topics such as refugee, immigrant, and unaccompanied children; child welfare; capacity building; technical assistance; culturally responsive evaluation; participatory evaluation; implementation science and/or continuous quality improvement (CQI) 

Prior work experience in a consulting environment.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$57,737.00 - $98,153.00
