You’ll make a difference in:
Data Modeling: Creating high-quality data products to support decision-making and process optimization by setting up data sets and designing efficient models using data warehouse technologies and ETL techniques. Data Transformation: Utilizing programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and leveraging machine learning and AI algorithms to enhance data processing and transformation. Data Analysis and Visualization: Ensuring the quality and reliability of data products through effective data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques to build comprehensive, customized reports and dashboards to meet specific user requirements. Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights while critically evaluating data sources to ensure data quality. Data Storytelling and Collaboration: Effectively communicating data-driven insights and acting as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to foster process optimization and transformation.
Your success is grounded in: Education & Experience: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field. Relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (for Power BI), Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Snowflake SnowPro Certification are a plus. As well as practical experience through internships or personal projects involving data visualization and data modeling. Data Visualization Tools: Familiar with Power BI and Tableau for creating and customizing visualizations, reports, and dashboards, with data integration skills to connect various data sources. Data Modeling & Warehousing Skills: Familiar with Snowflake’s unique features, data warehousing principles, SQL, and designing efficient data models using schemas like Star and Snowflake. Programming & Cloud Skills: Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and understanding of cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake. Analytical & Financial Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, ensure quality, solve complex problems, and understand financial reporting processes. Understanding financial reporting processes, concepts, and finance tool architecture. Communication & Collaboration: Effective in communicating findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with the experience working in collaborative environments. Problem Solving: Ability to propose alternative and drive optimal solutions and achievements. Attention to Details: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting Continuous Learning: Committed to staying updated with trends in data visualization and modeling through continuous learning and skill enhancement.
