Data Domain Architect Lead

If yes, we are looking for a Data Domain Architect  to join our team in designing data products to meet business needs.

As a Data Domain Architect Lead, you  will design data products from vision to launch, will lead customer interactions, user research and define the curated data assets required to provide business analysts high quality descriptive, prescriptive and predictive data solutions. 

Job responsibilities : 

Act as a strategic partner to key business leaders, building strong consultative relationships with stakeholders. Collaborate with partners to drive a vision of a fully data-empowered product organization. Collaborate with a team of data specialists, scientists, engineers, and design strategists to facilitate effective decision-making. Combining analytical skills with client empathy is essential for success in this role. Work alongside talented teammates to create data products focused on people. Represent a human-centered, iterative approach, collaborating in small, multidisciplinary teams. Be empowered to experiment, research, propose new ideas, iterate, refine, and quickly learn from failures. Engage in coding to transform ideas into products. Operate as a self-directed contributor with a proven track record of ownership and achieving results. Work independently with minimal guidance and navigate ambiguous situations. Understand user needs and effectively structure business problems to develop practical data solutions that drive positive business outcomes.

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

Over 5 years of practical experience in analytics and data science, including data sourcing, analysis, manipulation, and reporting using BI tools, specifically within financial services such as banks, payment processors, lenders, fintech companies, bureaus, or aggregators. Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline, such as Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, or Physics. Proficient in a wide range of modern tools and programming languages, including SQL, Scala, Python, and R. Skilled in handling large datasets, capable of efficiently managing billions of records and terabytes of data. Strong understanding of technical concepts and ideas. Experience working in small to medium-sized project teams. Ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively, with strong presentation skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills : 

Familiarity with Snowflake is advantageous. Familiarity with AWS is advantageous. Knowledge of common data vocabularies and linked data concepts, such as RDF, DCAT, and Schema.org, is beneficial. Experience in domains such as Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Wealth Management, Card Services, Auto, or Home Lending is a plus. Understanding of areas like Customer Profitability, Customer Journey Analytics, or Customer Marketing is a plus. Experience with or basic knowledge of machine learning models is advantageous.
