ROLE OVERVIEW
We are searching for a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. You will be a key contributor to building and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data flow, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work with a massive dataset across various domains including product information, customer behavior, sales, and marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing data from various sources, including website interactions, third-party integrations, and internal data systems. Implement and manage data warehousing solutions, including relational databases and cloud data platforms. Build and optimize data models and schemas to support business intelligence, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. Develop and maintain data quality processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the platform. Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable solutions. Automate cron jobs and scheduled tasks related to data processing and pipeline execution. Demonstrate proficiency in building interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Looker. Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information. Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and trends, and proactively suggest improvements to our data infrastructure. Contribute to the overall development of the data engineering team.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with various data warehousing and data processing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery). Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with cloud data services. Advanced Python skills with a focus on data manipulation using dataframes (e.g., Pandas). Experience in building interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Looker. Understanding of data modeling techniques and experience with different data structures. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
