About this opportunity:

The data and analytics engineer is responsible for implementing the end-to-end data transformations from ingestion,to consumption,ensuring a governed and structured use-cases consumption area.Design and maintain the data assets to meet the customer’s needs.

The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with other roles like Data Architects,Solution architects,Scrum Master,Agile Coach,Data Analysts,Developers,Product Managers,Users and Key partners.

 

What you will do:

•    Develop in a structured, performant manner,data requirements and activities requested by use cases,enhancing data quality,and leveraging the solution architecture.
•    Connect securely to data sources,understand it’s limitations and data assets and ingest data from it to our main storage components.
•    Store and maintain metadata,enhancing transparency and the execution of idempotent routines.
•    Understand and implement data architecture design.
•    Give feedback and validate feasibility of data architecture design.
•    Develop applications and components leveraging design patterns and best practices,ensuring an extensible and maintainable codebase.
•    Leverage Azure/AWS and cloud-native components for optimal execution of the data processing activities.
•    Collaborate closely with use cases to gather and develop feature requirements and the availability of data assets.
•    Ensure SLAs in case of failure and assist quickly with hotfix and bugfix development as part of agile WoW.
•    Assist use-cases on exploration and machine learning capabilities through workshops and knowledge sharing sessions.

 

The skills you bring:
•    Education: Bachelor of Engineer/master’s in computer science or equivalent.
•    Minimum 6 years of experience in IT,Data Warehouse/BI/Data Product Development/Analytics/Solution development on Cloud platform.
•    Analytical background and familiarity with evolving technology landscape such as Cloud/Snowflake/Big Data/Containerization/BI Reporting Tools/SAP HANA is an added advantage.
•    Excellent understanding of data quality measures.
•    Experience with Azure Data Factory,Azure Data Lake,Databricks,Apache Airflow,Spark,Python,Bigdata,Snowflake.
•    Last 6+ years’ experience in Spark,Python,Databricks,Azure,AWS,Snowflake development.
•    Knowledge in cloud-native architectures and best practices.
•    Experience with Azure/AWS PaaS and IaaS offerings.
•    Experience working for Machine Learning Solutions is a plus.
•    Experience working in DevOps /CI/CD tools and mindset to automate the process.
•    Experience working in developing new reports using Power BI or migrate the reports from Tableau to Power BI.
