Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for Cleveland, Ohio. This role is for a Data Engineer to join our team. Your main function will be to set up data warehouses and assist with best practices, as well as ensure all kinds of data are available and access rules are in place. This role is fully remote and is for a 40 hours per week commitment. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain data warehouse systems and best practices • Implement and manage cloud technologies for data storage and access • Utilize SQL Server and other tools like Microsoft Power BI for data management and reporting • Ensure data availability and implement access rules for data security • Liaise with other team members to open data access for report generation • Contribute to data visualization and analytics processes • Assist in API development and maintain AWS technologies • Utilize Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory for data warehousing tasks • Implement Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BI DW) strategies • Utilize Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Business Intelligence for data management. Requirements • Proficiency in cloud technologies is essential • Experience with data visualization tools is required • Strong analytical skills are necessary • Knowledge of API development is crucial • Familiarity with AWS technologies is desirable • Proficiency in Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory is expected • Experience with data warehousing is a must • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BI DW) is required • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Server Business Intelligence is necessary • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power BI is a plus • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required • Ability to work in a team and independently is necessary • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required • Relevant industry experience is desirable.
