Our industry leading financial services client is seeking a Data Engineer. The Data Engineer will primarily be focused on supporting client implementations and internal migration projects. They will work with the lead data analysts to convert a client’s data into our financial client's architecture. The candidate must be proficient in data analysis and be able to work between multiple implementations and constantly evolving client requirements. _Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ Rate: $45 - $55 / hr. w2 **Responsibilities:** + Proven ability in a data analysis/programming role (minimum 6-9 years experience) + Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as a solid grasp of the organizational structure supporting implementation and ongoing projects + Strong SQL skills to query and script in data + Data Exchange knowledge and analysis skills to lead, execute, or assist on all assigned work throughout the project; examples of projects: implementation of a new client or Corporate Actions + Health and Welfare knowledge required **Experience Requirements:** + Excellent analysis skills, preferably data analysis skills, are required + Solid experience with query languages such as SQL + Experience with ETL Tools (snaplogic) + Should have proven general experience programming languages and relational databases + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Work optimally as a team member + Demonstrate solid leadership skills; are highly organized, self-motivated with strong time management skills and an ability to handle various tasks simultaneously + Ability to thrive in a matrix-managed environment across multiple locations and functions + Broad application/technology experience is a plus _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
