Description The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: Extensive experience (5+ years) in data engineering, with a focus on building robust ETL solutions and data pipelines Proficient in Python, Spark, SQL, Unix, and shell scripting Experienced in working with cloud technologies, such as OpenShift (Kubernetes-based) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Familiar with data platforms like Cloudera Dataplatform (CDP) and object stores Proven experience in leading design sessions, architecture, and developing common frameworks to support more junior engineers Strong background in building microservices architectures and working with data sets Experienced in using Dremio, a SQL acceleration tool, for reporting and analytics Able to clearly articulate their leadership experience and the specific tools and technologies they have used Skills Hadoop, Python, Spark, Big data, unix shell, kubernetes, openshift, microservices, cloudera, hortonworks, mapr, CDP, Dremio SQL, etl, cloud, GCP Additional Skills & Qualifications The manager is looking for a Big Data Software Engineer with proved experience leading projects and teams.
