**Job Title: Data Engineer**
**Location: Remote**
**Pay Range: $60 - $65/Hr. on W2.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems to support automation and data-driven decision-making.
• Implement and manage MLOps practices to streamline the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models.
• Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data workflows.
• Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Build etc.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all pipelines and systems.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data systems and processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest data engineering and MLOps tools and technologies.
**Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, SQL.
• Extensive experience with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, or similar).
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with data science concepts and collaboration with data science teams.
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Google Cloud Composer.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control tools like Git for data pipelines and model deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience in the supply chain industry or a keen interest in learning about it.
• Certifications in GCP or data engineering-related fields.
