Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in PLAIN CITY, Ohio, United States for a Data Engineer. You will be part of a team focused on transforming our operations into a data-driven environment. This role requires ensuring our data infrastructure is stable, secure, and high-performing. Responsibilities: • Oversee and enhance databases across on-prem SQL Servers, Azure SQL, and Databricks. • Safeguard database availability, security, recoverability, and performance. • Create and uphold automation processes using SQL DACPACs, PowerShell, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Provide support to transactional and analytical data systems. • Adopt best practices for data security, compliance, and governance. • Use Azure Databricks, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL, PowerShell skills to implement and improve our data infrastructure. Requirements • Proficiency in Azure Databricks, with hands-on experience in managing and optimizing data pipelines. • Extensive knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Azure, including designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions. • Mastery of Microsoft SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance. • Experience with PowerShell scripting, with a focus on automating tasks and enhancing system efficiency.
