Job Description Day-To-Day: Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer. As a Data Engineer, your daily tasks will involve creating and maintaining data processing systems and software frameworks. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to facilitate data collection, integration, and transformation. Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data through rigorous testing and validation will be a crucial part of your role. You'll monitor and resolve issues in data pipelines and infrastructure to maintain high performance and availability. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to understand their data needs and convert raw data into valuable insights. You'll also support various teams, including technical, product, business, and executive teams, with data-related technical challenges. Additionally, you'll integrate data models and solutions into the data layer and stay informed about the latest data engineering technologies and best practices to continually enhance our data solutions. This position is remote however, candidate must be comfortable traveling to Baltimore, MD at least twice times a month. Skills and Requirements * Bachelor's degree in related field ex. Data Science, Data Engineering or Computer Science * 5+ years of professional experience in software development and data engineering * Strong experience with Azure cloud-based data infrastructure and services. * Proficient in C# and Python * Experience working with large sets of data, data modeling, data pipelines, data warehousing solutions and ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory or Airflow. * Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Azure DevOps. * Experience with SQL Server and Oracle * Excellent problem solving, leadership and communication skills * Background in Utilities/Energy null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
