Job Description An employer in the insurance industry is looking for a Data Engineer to join the fully remote team. This person will be responsible for building data pipelines, working with both structured and unstructured data sources, and transforming data for AI related business insights. The data engineer will implement ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to push information through data lakes and transform data through data models. They will utilize tools like Azure Synapse for compute, enabling the creation of reports in Power BI, as well as integrate data from third-party sources into the data ecosystem. They will manage and transform data from various sources (SQL databases, CSV files, Excel, unstructured data, PDFs), and participate in greenfield data lake projects, ensuring data lineage and governance.
