Job Description:

Azure & Fabric Architecture 

Architect end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage) and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. 

Establish best practices for cloud-based data pipelines, optimizing data ingestion, storage, and transformation. 

Integration & Automation 

Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from Salesforce, Workday, and other enterprise systems. 

Implement RPA and data automation workflows to streamline and enhance data processes throughout the organization. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement 

Work closely with business units, data analysts, and additional development teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions tailored to evolving data needs. 

Provide technical leadership and guidance on modern data engineering best practices in a cross-functional environment. 

Data Governance & Quality 

Ensure data accuracy and reliability through proactive monitoring, cleansing, and transformation. 

Implement and maintain data security protocols, compliance measures, and controlled access based on organizational needs. 

Continuous Improvement 

Stay current on emerging technologies in cloud data engineering, RPA, and analytics. 

Identify opportunities to enhance data architectures, tools, and integration methods for optimal efficiency. 

Qualifications: 

Education & Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 

3+ years of professional experience in data engineering, software development, or a related area. 

Technical Proficiency 

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage). 

Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric for data integration and analytics architectures. 

Proficient in SQL and ETL/ELT methodologies, with strong data modeling and transformation skills. 

Experience integrating Salesforce and Workday data or similar enterprise systems. 

Exposure to RPA tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, Actian) and data automation strategies. 

Preferred Qualifications 

Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for data deployments. 

Experience optimizing large-scale, cloud-based data environments. 

Understanding Power BI infrastructure (e.g., data flows, gateway configurations). 

Soft Skills 

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
