Data Engineer - Airflow Astronomer
Job Description A client of Insight Global's is looking to hire a data engineer to assist with their airflow astronomer implementation. Responsibilities include setting up and configuring Astronomer Airflow, migrating existing workflows, training the data engineering team, and establishing monitoring and alerting systems. The role also involves optimizing workflows, expanding orchestration capabilities, managing job and data dependencies, and standardizing application parameter management. Key skills required are expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, Astronomer, Airflow, Redis, Azure, and Python. The engineer will also automate backup procedures, create business user views, and develop point-in-time rollback features for critical workflows. This is a fully remote 4 month contract opportunity. Pay for this position is between 72 and 82 HR. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
