Data Engineer/Analyst
Job Title: Data Engineer/Analyst Location: Holloman AFB, NM (On-Site) Canvas is currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team at Holloman Air Force Base, NM to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force. The selected candidate will advise and assist with data analysis for either the 746th Test Squadron and its navigational warfare/Global Positioning System (GPS) jamming mission or the 846th Test Squadron and its support to the Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT). This announcement will be used to fill multiple positions. Duties: + Use a variety of software and analytic methods to deduce test results. + Able to create or code simple software tools to analyze test data. + Draw conclusions based on test data and compile into a technical report. + Establish reporting timelines for post-test data processing and publish written technical reports. + Document test setup procedures performed by personnel, including equipment used, configuration settings, and environmental conditions to ensure accuracy and repeatability of tests. + Understand and communicate technical information to stakeholders across various disciplines, both verbally and in writing. + Assist in the creation and archival of accurate and timely test documentation including contract documents, test plans, safety plans, security plans, launch orders and mission reports. + Communicate effectively with test team and customers to achieve proper data collection. Primary modes of communication include technical reports, presentations and meetings/email correspondence. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of relevant experience; Master's degree desired. *Education requirement may be substituted for years of experience upon customer approval. Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; active Secret clearance desired.
