What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Data Engineer Analyst who will provide data engineering and analysis consulting to a Department of the Army client as part of a financial information operations team responsible for harnessing, cleaning, merging, transforming, and analyzing large amounts of related data. Delivers intuitive and user-friendly data visualization dashboards and applications based on this data, to foster a data-driven decision-making approach. The team follows an Agile/Scrum methodology, iterating rapidly in 2-week sprints and constantly engaging with the client for feedback, quickly transforming that feedback into formal requirements.
We are seeking candidates with knowledge of and hands‐on experience with modern Business Intelligence software with proven ability to work independently in converting business and functional requirements into data pipelines, complex reports, data visualizations, and dashboards. Ultimately, the client seeks a consulting team that is software agnostic and possesses a strategic outlook that produces relevant, timely, and actionable technical advice (e.g., advice regarding financial, logistics, contract management, and related workflows).
