CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer Data Integration opening for our client in Tampa, FL. Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Travel required: 50% Duties: Develop and implement data integration solutions for large-scale data environments, ensuring seamless connection between various data sources and applications. Work with ETRM Open Connect in OpenLink to integrate and manage trading data efficiently. Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize ETL processes. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the integration process. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data integration and OpenLink environment. Participate in system testing, debugging, and deploying updates to maintain smooth data flow across platforms. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients regarding data integration strategies and best practices. Document processes, data flow diagrams, and integration protocols. Skills: Strong proficiency with OpenLink and Open Connect in the ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) domain. Advanced knowledge of data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Familiarity with relational databases and data storage systems. Expertise in programming languages and data manipulation tools like SQL, Python, and relevant integration technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets in real-time. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with OpenLink, particularly in an ETRM context. Proven track record in data integration, data engineering, and managing complex data pipelines. Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver integration solutions. Prior experience with cloud services and distributed computing is a plus. Experience in a client-facing role with strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
