Primary Job Responsibilities:
Designing and creating ETL procedures to extract, transform and load data into a database. Designing and implementing data warehousing solutions Ensuring that the data extracted from various sources is clean, accurate, and reliable. Conceptualizing, designing, and constructing data frameworks and planning. Modifying and testing existing databases and ETL procedures to correct errors, adapt to new updates, or improve performance. Monitoring and tuning data loads and ETL programs to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Working with business analysts and data architects to ensure that the data management system meets company needs. Collaborating with developers, administrators, and testers to identify potential data issues and troubleshoot existing problems. Creating and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information. Preparing documentation for ETL procedures, including data standards, procedures, and data flow diagrams. Maintaining the metadata and repository for ETL operations, and managing ETL-related activities. Ensuring compliance with data governance and data quality standards, as well as privacy regulations and policies. Providing on-demand data outputs for analysis, decision-making, and reporting. Conducting root cause analysis of system issues to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualification/Experience
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems or related educational background 4+ years of work experience as Business/Data/Product Analyst. Solid experience in creating ETL pipelines and collecting / preparing data for advance analytics monitoring Programming experience using Python Pandas & NumPy is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Spark etc. is preferred Data visualization tool experience is a plus. Excellent working knowledge of SQL & experience querying data platforms, relational databases, MySQL, Oracle, DB2 etc. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in business data definition, data profiling and data mapping analysis Excellent understanding of how technology impacts the business Must have strong business acumen as well as technical solutions expertise Strong ability to independently perform analysis of business workflow, and technology issues to facilitate decision-making Multi-tasking along with strong organization and time management skills is a must Must have strong problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, documentation skills Knowledge of Agile methodologies
