Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Data Engineer II to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

Are you a data enthusiast with a strong background in ETL tools, data analysis, and data modeling? At Cox Automotive, we’re looking for a Data Engineer II to be a pivotal part of our team. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in designing high-performance queries and working with diverse data sources to meet reporting needs and drive data solutions. Your experience with streaming technologies like DMS and Kinesis, NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, and ETL tools like Informatica will be crucial.

As a Data Engineer II, you will collaborate closely with delivery teams to build and maintain data pipelines, models, and queries, both in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and on-premises. You’ll be integral to improving performance, reducing technical debt, and supporting the product and technology roadmaps. Role Overview:

Collaborate with Product Management to understand data needs and deliver high-quality data solutions.Develop and manage scalable data pipelines and architectures.Optimize data solutions in cloud-based data warehouses.Document processes and adhere to data management techniques.

What You’ll Do

Build data pipelines (using Kinesis/Kafka, 2+ years experience).Use GitHub source control tools.Work with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, RedShift, Snowflake).Apply knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud technologies.Develop data models using tools like Erwin or DBT.Experience with Python and .NET (2+ years).

Who You Are

3+ years in data-centric applications and analytics.Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses.Proficiency in data analysis and modeling.Knowledge of cloud databases and data warehouse solutions.Strong analytical skills and effective communication.

Must-Haves:

Experience with data modeling and analytics.Proficiency in Oracle, Snowflake, DBT, and cloud solutions.Motivated, result-oriented team player.
