The ideal candidate will have a passion for the power of data, strong background in building data warehouses, maintaining SQL Server databases, and developing REST API services. This role requires hands-on experience with ODBC and OAuth, as well as proficiency in T-SQL/RDBMS and OLAP/OLTP data sources. Experience with Snowflake and building business intelligence UIs is a plus. **PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:** + Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse capabilities to support business intelligence and analytics needs + Manage and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure high performance and reliability + Understand and help to maintain REST API services to facilitate data integration and access + Implement and manage ODBC and OAuth connections for secure data access + Work with T-SQL/RDBMS and OLAP/OLTP data sources to support various data-processing and reporting requirements + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs + Develop and maintain documentation for data-engineering processes and solutions + Deliver a premier level of service for our audiology and ENT membership + Own the improvement process: actively seek to grow your skills and that of the team + Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance procedures + Some Cloud experience (Azure, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.) preferred **CAPABILITIES:** + Embody the Scrum values: courage, respect, focus, openness, commitment + Team spirit, empathy, and excellent communication abilities (both written and verbal) + Good organizational skills + Be a practical change agent: ability to balance Agile idealism for tomorrow with the practical realities of status quo delivery today **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field + 3-5 years of experience in a data-engineering role with hands-on RDBMS programming + Proven experience in building and maintaining data warehouses + Strong knowledge of SQL Server databases and T-SQL + Proficiency with ODBC and OAuth and OLAP/OLTP data sources + Nice-to-have: experience with Snowflake and building business intelligence UIs + Proven team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within an organization, internally and externally **WORKING ENVIRONMENT:** + Hybrid work environment (Monday in-office for all staff with occasional additional days as necessary for meetings and events) + Full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORK DEMANDS:** This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain.
