Data Engineer Intern
What We Need: Our engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and supporting innovative solutions that serve our customers and enable our business operations. We own all aspects of technology at Brady with focuses on innovation, ease of use, automation, reliability, and security. Our current emphasis is on building applications that make it easier to do business with Brady and data platforms to support business operations, advanced analytics, and machine learning. As a member of the engineering team, you’ll be working on initiatives including, but not limited to cloud data warehouses, visualization, analytics, automation and machine learning. What You'll Be Doing: + Design, build, and support data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and transforming data + Help the business make data-driven decisions through effective data management + Utilize Python, SQL, and other tools based on data volume, complexity, and business requirements What You Will Need To Be Successful: Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related technical field. Work schedule: Expectations of 10-15 hours per week during school. Days and times are flexible. Full time during the summer.
