Overview: The Data Engineer/Power BI Lead will be responsible for managing and enhancing our Power BI environment. This role involves maintaining the data model, integrating new data sources through ETL processes, building insightful dashboards and reports, and collaborating with third-party vendors to ensure seamless data integration and reporting. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and optimize existing Power BI data models to ensure performance and accuracy * Implement best practices for data modeling and visualization to enhance user experience * Identify and integrate new data sources into the Power BI environment * Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data is clean, accurate, and timely * Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to streamline data flow and integration * Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders * Ensure that dashboards are user-friendly and meet the needs of various departments * Regularly update and enhance existing reports based on user feedback and changing business requirements * Work with third-party vendors to integrate external data sources and tools into the Power BI environment * Manage relationships with external partners to ensure data quality and compliance with company standards * Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices * Develop documentation and training materials to facilitate user adoption and understanding * Monitor the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency * Generate regular reports on usage and performance metrics to inform stakeholders * Keep abreast of the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices * Recommend improvements and innovations to enhance the Power BI environment
