The Data Engineering and IT Systems team supports internal systems, data repositories and data pipelines, and compute platforms used throughout R&D. This includes developing high-level data strategies, supporting cloud and on-prem computing, advising and enforcing application security, providing internal tools to developers, and validating software systems. Responsibilities - What You'll Do: + Continuously learn and share your technical knowledge + Work collaboratively on data engineering and data pipeline solutions for R&D systems + Design, develop, and support a variety of high-performance software solutions Qualifications Qualifications - What You'll Bring: + Must be enrolled or recently graduated in or with a bachelors, masters, or doctoral degree program in computer, information technology or related engineering field + Possess problem-solving skills using creative approaches + Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners + Hands-on experience and/or coursework in software engineering. + Not required, but preferred technology experiences: Python, React, Angular, Typescript, C#, .Net, RESTful API Services, AWS, Azure, and SQL DEITS Recommended Skills: + In-depth understanding of an operating system, either Windows or Linux. + Experience in software development. + Knowledge of SQL + Experience in AWS cloud services. + Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) + Experience with Atlassian tools, Microsoft Power Platform, GitLab + Experience with cybersecurity, including authentication, authorization, and application security + Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerization Corteva Agriscience™ is an equal opportunity employer.
