The Data Engineering and IT Systems team supports internal systems, data repositories and data pipelines, and compute platforms used throughout R&D. This includes developing high-level data strategies, supporting cloud and on-prem computing, advising and enforcing application security, providing internal tools to developers, and validating software systems.

Design, develop, and support a variety of high-performance software solutions
Qualifications
Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:
Must be enrolled or recently graduated in or with a bachelors, masters, or doctoral degree program in computer, information technology or related engineering field
Possess problem-solving skills using creative approaches
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners
Hands-on experience and/or coursework in software engineering.
Not required, but preferred technology experiences: Python, React, Angular, Typescript, C#, .Net, RESTful API Services, AWS, Azure, and SQL
DEITS Recommended Skills:
In-depth understanding of an operating system, either Windows or Linux.
Experience in software development.
Knowledge of SQL
Experience in AWS cloud services.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
Experience with Atlassian tools, Microsoft Power Platform, GitLab
Experience with cybersecurity, including authentication, authorization, and application security
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerization
