Data Entry – Risk Management Team
Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a downtown Edmonton-based financial organization to hire a data entry clerk with a focus on assisting the risk management team. 

This is a 3 month contract with potential for extension starting January 6th. 
 
  Responsibilities:
Enter and maintain accurate data across multiple platforms, including core databases, Excel, and internal systems, adhering strictly to established protocols.Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to risk management standards.Manage a dynamic workload, efficiently prioritizing tasks to meet strict deadlines and handle sudden changes in project requirements.Review data for accuracy, making corrections as necessary, and reporting any inconsistencies or errors to supervisors.Perform verification of entered data by cross-referencing with source documents to ensure consistency and completeness.Maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting, ensuring compliance with risk and data management standards.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to learn new data entry systems and processes rapidly, applying problem-solving skills as needed.Utilize Microsoft Excel for data organization, reporting, and complex data analysis, including using functions, formulas, and pivot tables.Communicate effectively with internal partners to clarify requirements and ensure data quality.Operate both independently and collaboratively to achieve team objectives and maintain accurate records.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with advanced skills in data organization and analysis.1-2 years of experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably within a risk management or compliance-driven environment.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively collaborate and clarify data requirements.Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, detail-oriented work, and maintaining data integrity in a deadline-focused setting.Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
