Job Summary
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our client’s team in Naperville, IL, on a 4-month contract basis. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour and is ideal for someone with strong typing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities
+ Data Input: Accurately enter, verify, and update data into internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
+ Data Accuracy: Review and validate information for completeness and correctness while ensuring compliance with company standards.
+ Record Management: Maintain and organize electronic and physical files, ensuring timely retrieval of information when needed.
+ Quality Assurance: Assist with identifying data inconsistencies and performing error resolution to maintain data integrity.
+ Documentation Support: Generate and compile reports based on entered data as directed by management.
+ Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and adhere to company confidentiality policies.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support team members and departments with administrative tasks or reporting needs.
+ Deadline Management: Meet daily and weekly data entry targets while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
+ Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a data entry role or similar administrative position.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with database tools or ERP systems preferred.
+ Typing Speed: Strong typing skills with an emphasis on accuracy (minimum 45 words per minute preferred).
+ Soft Skills: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
