Data Entry Clerk
Description We are looking for a diligent Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Miramar, Florida. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for processing supplier freight and customs invoices, maintaining accurate records, and resolving internal and external customer issues. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately process supplier freight and customs invoices through the 3-way match system • Allocate all cost data correctly during the invoice processing • Enter the coded trade invoices into specific G/L accounts • Verify supplier invoices by footing and cross footing the dollar amounts • Handle the processing of trade invoices for the Control States that are not 3-way entries • Resolve customer issues by promptly returning/acknowledging phone calls and emails • Provide responses and resolutions to customer inquiries in a reasonable amount of time • Perform other job-related duties as assigned • Maintain accurate customer credit records • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry tasks • Proven experience with handling supplier invoices • Excellent PC skills, including usage of spreadsheets and word processing tools • Proficiency in email correspondence and ability to manage high volume email tasks • Knowledge and experience with 'About Time' software or similar time management systems • Ability to create and manage templates for efficient data processing • Familiarity with customs regulations and processes, if relevant to the industry • Experience in video processing or video-related tasks • Proficiency in using a data processor for managing large volumes of data • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or discrepancies in data • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work according to business needs • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative when resolving issues.
