Data Entry Clerk
Description We are currently recruiting for a Data Entry Clerk for a short-term contract opportunity. In this role, you will be integral to the accurate and efficient processing of customer applications, maintaining up-to-date customer records, and providing exceptional support by responding to customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and ensuring appropriate actions are taken when necessary. Key Responsibilities: + Process customer credit applications with high accuracy and efficiency. + Update and maintain accurate customer credit records and documentation. + Regularly index and organize documents for easy and efficient electronic retrieval. + Create and maintain customer/member records in compliance with company standards. + Post and release balanced batches promptly. + Utilize basic math skills to identify and correct discrepancies or errors in employer reporting. + Accurately process checks for daily deposits, ensuring proper entry of all payments. + Balance employer reports and self-pay remittances on time. + Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and successfully manage an increasing workload. + Work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry. • Proficient in 10 Key Skills, essential for efficient data entry. • Excellent customer service skills, capable of maintaining positive relations with clients. • Demonstrable experience in data entry, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Competent in email correspondence, ensuring clear and detail-oriented communication. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, essential for data processing and document creation. • Ability to organize files systematically, ensuring easy retrieval and tracking of data. • Capable of performing calculations accurately, crucial for financial data handling. • Experience in scanning documents, contributing to efficient data storage and retrieval. • Proficient in typing, with a high level of speed and accuracy.
