Description We are actively searching for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Seal Beach, California. In this role, you will be tasked with accurately entering data, managing customer records, and handling customer queries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Inputting a minimum of 6,000 paper profiles into the new database system for a new gate entry program • Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data entry processes • Managing and maintaining customer credit records • Addressing customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions • Collaborating with an on-site proctor to resolve any issues or queries • Following detailed instructions to ensure data entry accuracy • Participating in training sessions to ensure user-friendly data entry • Ensuring attention to detail in all data entry tasks. Requirements • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position in a non-profit environment • Proficiency in using various office software, including email tools, spreadsheets, and databases • Exceptional ability to enter and update data in a timely and accurate manner • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage numerous tasks concurrently • High attention to detail and ability to spot data discrepancies • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required • Willingness to undergo background checks or provide employment recommendations if necessary TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
