Our canine group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a Data Entry Specialist. The Data Entry Specialist position will be responsible for entering data into the government databases and aiding the Administrative Logistics Security Specialist and Program Management with recordkeeping and filing maintenance. Some overnight travel may be expected. This role may, on occasion, receive after-hours communication requiring response.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Obtain and maintain access to and competence with the DS High-Threat Integrated Tracking System (HITS) application, with an appropriate HITS user role, to include mandatory initial training with DS/OPO, and periodic refresher training as needed, provided by the GovernmentObtain and maintain an active Department OpenNet+ account, and remote access account and tokenPerform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of personally identifiable information (PII) and bio- graphical information (BIO) documents prior to submission via HITSSubmits PII and BIO documents in the HITS application for review and processing by Diplomatic Security (DS) / Office of Overseas Protective Operations (OPO)Coordinate with DS/OPO to ensure the accurate and timely processing and review of HITS PII and BIO documentsFacilitate personnel pre-deployment by responding to recruitment needs, ensuring candidates meet BIO requirements, and communicating current BIO status, as appropriateUpdate records in HITS as appropriate, to include affiliation records, clearance records, training records, letters of authorization (LOAs), common access cards (CACs), PII updates, and update event recordsUndergo initial account setup and initial mandatory cyber security awareness training at DS/OPO headquarters, as well as periodic mandatory cybersecurity awareness training, provided by the Government

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a US Citizen (pursuant to government clearance requirements)Possess, or be able to obtain a United States passportPossess, or able to obtain, a minimum of a secret level security clearance Must possess one or more of the followingHigh School diploma with a minimum of six (6) years of experience performing administrative, data entry, QA/QCAssociate’s degree in Business, Project Management, Criminal Justice, or related field of study and four (4) years of experience performing administrative, data entry, QA/QC, records management, and information systems duties.Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Criminal Justice, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience performing administrative, data entry, QA/QC, records management, and information systems duties.Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a successful customer service roleAbility to maintain strong working relationships and deal effectively with senior US Federal and Embassy personnel
