Description Robert Half has a recurring need for onsite Data Entry Clerks for our client in Oakland, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and usable information in our systems. Duties & Responsibilities: + Enter and update data into appropriate databases, records, and files + Transferring data from paper formats into digital files or database systems + Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation + Verify and correct data where necessary + Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested + Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems + Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent; further education will be a plus. + Proven experience as a data entry clerk. + Fast typing speed with excellent accuracy. + Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems. + An ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. + Attention to detail.
