**Job Description Summary** The role of the TGS Data Functional Senior Analyst is to serve as the bridge between business users and technical teams in the deployment of Data analytics capabilities and Data Democratization strategy. The TGS Data Functional Senior Analyst will support the Finance and Corporate services analytical area. She/ He will support the Domain Data owner and Data product owner to elaborate a Data Strategy and roadmap to roll it out, in the context of Analytics modernisation program. This will consist in creating data product in a new BI architecture (Databricks), as well as connecting existing dashboards or create new dashboards to serve end users. Become a **maker of possible** with us. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + The objective of this role is to actively partner with the Business & TGS stakeholders to deliver the project’s requirements. Primary responsibilities in partnership with Business Partner and Business reporting lead will include: This individual will work closely with TGS Data Functional Leads, Data Product owners and key users as well as IT partners, to deliver the requirements. Key missions will consist in: + Data Strategy & Data Roadmap + Understand the Data strategy as defined by Data Functional lead and Business stakeholders + Support the Data Domain / Sub Domain owners in the definition and prioritization of their Data roadmap, in liaison with Data governance + With Data Domain, Accountable for Governance and Oversight of Data Product definition from Functional perspective + User requirements: + Conduct deep-dive stakeholder interviews to extract nuanced requirements + Promote data democratization and the usage of data products. + Coordinate the translation of the user requirements into Functional Specifications, with the support of Process SME, Business Partner, Platform teams and IT partner. + Promote data democratization and the usage of data products. + Assist the Data Engineering team with shaping + Project execution: + Answer developers’ questions related to functional areas or data, liaising with Business Partner, Business users or SME when needed. + Prepare and support the execution of business testing phase, with the support of Business report owner, Key users and Business Partner + Support Business users in the PQ execution + Support Cutover activities related to business users deployment. + Support hypercare activities. + Post project + Track user adoption and establish a feedback loop to capture enhancements required to increase adoption in liaison with Data Product owner **QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE** The ideal candidate will bring a combination of business support mindset, technology experience, relationship building skills and solution-oriented mindset. A minimum of five years of experience in relevant processes, analytical area systems and tools is essential to navigate the complexities of the position. In addition, this person should also possess: + Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities + Experience and knowledge of Finance processes and tools + Strong foundation in data modeling + Ability to communicate business / technical challenges in a simplified manner + Familiarity with change management principles + Familiarity with project management approaches (including Agile), tools, and phases + Highly collaborative work style which includes working effectively across all organizational levels + Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and in overcoming ambiguity + Able to align and work with diverse global stakeholders + Leading by example, motivating others all around you + Excellent judgment and decision-making + Accept ownership + Skilled in BI tools such as SAP Business Warehouse/ BI, Microsoft PowerBI, SAP BO or BEX, QlikView or QlikSense + Knowledge of BPC / BW + Knowledge in SAP ECC, SAP BPC, SAP S/4 Hana, JDE will be a plus + Knowledge of SQL or ABAP language code will be a plus. **EDUCATION** + Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is strongly preferred. + Master’s degree highly desirable. + Educational certificate or training in a process methodology is a plus.
