Job Responsibilities:

Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability Support existing, and develop new, data flows as needed by creating processes that verify, standardize, and scale data input, transformation, and storage Provide database design, development, and implementation support Developing and managing data processes to ensure that data is available and usable Creation and automation of data pipelines and platforms Managing and monitoring data quality via automated testing frameworks (Data Driven Testing,TDD, etc.) Assist in day-to-day monitoring of SQL Server Environment and provide 2nd level support as required for any issues Moving data from various sources through direct pipeline, flat files, API, and Scripts  Automate and develop data extraction and import processes  Prepare the detailed systems specifications for translations into structured applications with the necessary interfaces into other systems or across platformsMaintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Math or 3 plus years of experience with Data Analytics, Project or Program Management or Operations Management Advanced SQL Query Skills and proven knowledge SQL Server Experience in Database Management, relational database and noSQL structures and research methods. Experience in ETL development Tools (SQL Server Integration Services, Informatica, etc.)

Preferred Experience:

Experience with BI platforms (Spofire, RPA, Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI) Ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on business needs. Project Management experience and demonstrated success in Continuous Improvement Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Macros, Pivot Tables and complex formulas Proficient in use of SAP or similar ERP systems Knowledge of Asset Management Systems desired Excellent written and oral communication skills Proven operational ability to visualize, identify steps and implement processes Exhibits strong bias for action and a results orientation, tackling tough problems with firm deadlines, championing positive change Ability to travel as business requires 

Working Environment:

Must be able to work in a laboratory, controlled environments requiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.) in laboratory.Job pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high.Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 25% of the timeThe person needs to occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings onsite Frequently operate on instruments, objects, tools or controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting, stretching and reaching in order to perform in a service function.Occasionally move or lift up to 25 pounds (potential for occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds).Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation, the ability to observe details at close range distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in order to perform the essential service functions of this position.Occasionally operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $62,400 to $93,600. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
