Job Purpose and Impact
The Data Governance Analyst will work to ensure Cargill data assets are properly governed through practices that promote proper use, protection, access and reliability. In this role, you will work cross functionally to bring new processes, practices and standards to how data is governed throughout Cargill.
Key Accountabilities Provide leadership and oversight of the data governance program and operational model.Collaborate across teams to identify data risks which are then analyzed and solutions presented. Provide training on data governance practices across the organization to increase compliance and effectiveness.Support execution efforts to introduce new technology capabilities or features to enhance data governanceBuild partnerships across function and business groups to ensure data governance standards are understood and adhered to.Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experienceConfirmed experience in implementing data governance programsMinimum of four years of related work experienceOther minimum qualifications may applyPRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES
5-years’ experience in data leadership role Demonstrated ability to collaborate without boundariesProficient at defining shared needs and leading through changeExpertise in data governance practicesFamiliarity with data governance technologies
