**Job Description**
This position will work under general supervision to design, build, and execute efficient and accurate data validation tools, as well as ensure the design and execution of cross-functional data solutions. The Analyst II will be expected to understand the data intricacies within various business processes along with the data requirements and integrity across multiple system solutions. The Analyst II will document critical master data management processes, and development of checks and balances for internal control purposes. The Analyst II must also support data loads and requests for master data maintenance for all business groups within OCA. This role will raise any problems or issues to higher level analysts or managers who will review work for accuracy.
**Job Duties**
+ Assist in the creation of thorough documentation for all master data fields within relevant systems. The documentation will include how the data is being used and its relationships with other master data.
+ Support and provide input for processes that will allow for master data to be updated consistently and accurately, which will include gaining appropriate approvals.
+ Communicate with all interested parties when master data is changed.
+ Provide subject matter expertise for projects, ongoing efficiency improvements and business processes.
+ Support OCA data loads through data gathering and completion of load templates. Execution of limited data loads expected. Validate this information is accurate and in compliance with J-SOX controls.
+ Review and analyze master data to check for accuracy and raise any data problems or issues to higher level analysts or management who will review and provide guidance.
+ Actively support the MDM team, who will be the central contact point for all data related issues.
+ Gather MDM change data, provide summary level analytics and work with higher level analysts to complete robust analytics.
+ Recommend changes to data structures, elements and uses to optimize the flow of information.
+ Process ad-hoc data requests.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Job Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ A bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance, Business, Supply Chain or IT is required.
+ Minimum 2 to 4 years of data-related analytics or equivalent experience is preferred.
**Preferred:**
+ Ability to work independently, with general supervision, on day to day tasks, prioritization of work and simultaneous deliverables.
+ Understanding of master data and structural relationships.
+ Experience in database design and maintenance is preferred.
+ Know when to escalate issues, seek guidance and communicate with others.
+ Strong computer skills including MS Excel, MS Access and Power Point are required.
+ Ability to work in team environment.
+ Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
+ Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Experience with SAP and other ERP systems is preferred.
