Data Governance Analyst in Finance

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance Data Governance team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mexico City, Torre Mayor Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Finance Data Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting various data governance projects. You will collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and assist in resolving any data-related issues.

We will count on you to:

Create and maintain financial metadata by reviewing and approving requests for changes or creation in support of company-wide transactional (EBS) and financial reporting systems.Provide data governance support by assisting users in diagnosing and resolving financial reporting issues, escalating when necessary.Assist with data governance projects through periodic reviews of data for consistency and accuracy.Test and implement hierarchies and related structures for mass requests and large-scale changes in business processes.Develop and maintain process documentation and support the team by managing team metrics and project reporting updates.

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.2 to 3 years of experience in Data Governance and data metadata management.Proficiency in Oracle EBS, SQL, and Excel.Advanced English language skills.
