What You Will Do:

You will support our law enforcement client's data sharing program and work to review their current data and analytics capabilities. The candidate will review the client’s data policies, processes, and standards to identify strengths and areas for improvement and provide recommendations for the current and future architecture to support data and analytical needs to work towards the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide Data Governance

You will work alongside their Standards and Access (S&A) segment of the client's data team is focused on data standards and architecture, and Identity, Credential and Access Management to support the improvement of client's current data posture.  Some key initiatives for the team are:

Analyze their data Mmesh readiness

Develop implementation plan for data standards

Develop and publish core data standards

Develop and publish API Standards

Map systems integration with core data standards and requirements

You will review the client’s data policies, processes, and standards to identify strengths and areas for improvement. The candidate should expect to provide recommendations for the current and future architecture and policies. You will be responsible for consulting with experts to develop roadmap of recommended modernization and support the creation of a business data framework.

The candidate should expect to work closely with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and facilitate requirement gathering sessions to ideate around solutions. The candidate will support the CDO in preparing PowerPoint slides for her monthly presentations at Data Governance Council.

The candidate should expect to use JIRA to track and monitor work tasks requested by the client. The candidate should be comfortable working with a small team in fast pace environments where requirements and tasks fluctuate daily. 


What You Will Need:

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance

Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of education FOUR (4) years of additional experience in data analytics, data information sharing, or data accessibility may be used

FIVE (5) or more years of experience in data analytics, data information sharing, or data accessibility

Must be on client site 5 days a week


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills

Department of Justice experience a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
