We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

The Data Governance Manager role is based in DAO team. The main purpose of this position is to support the Senior/Data Governance Managers and Data Management Analyst in the execution of our governance over GB/GF’s regulatory data quality management in accordance to group and regulatory framework, policy, standards, manage China Data Platform and its components.

In this role, you will:

· Act as a central coordinator of China regulators on-site inspections on statistic management work.

· Plan and organize CNQ report self-check per regulators’ requests and formulate self-check summary reports to regulators.

· Act as SPoC of branches statistics data quality expert including conducting or coordinating data quality check required by regulators and formulating reports to regulators.

· Act as external SPoC of deposit insurance BAU reporting from both process management and BAU quality perspective.

· Drive the remediation of source data quality issues by driving business process enhancements at business ends.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a major services organization, with project management and oversight experience.

· Knowledge of industry leading data quality management practices

· Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues

· Ability to maintain composure and drive right outcomes under high profile business scrutiny, incorporating change management.

· Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results.

· Excellent planning, organising and commercial skills including strong financial management capability with tenacity to drive through results.

· Strong relationship management capabilities, with great influencing skills and gravitas

· Highly effective negotiation and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated and self-managed. Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy combined with a decisive collaborative nature.

· Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

· Balance approach to risk management including techniques to mitigate risk.

· Ability to interact and build relationship with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

· Operates well across cultures and in multicultural diverse work environments.

Desirable

· Relevant degree or post graduate qualification

· Proven experience of working across cultures in a global environment
